Requirements

Education
  • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Finance
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or part-qualified status are an added advantage.
Additional Requirements
  • Age at most 30 years
  • Strong command of English.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, VT) will be given extra consideration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, & Outlook is essential.
  • Candidate who lives in Sylhet or any history of living in Sylhet will get preference.

Responsibilities & Context

Office Schedule:

Monday to Friday (five days a week).

From 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Responsibilities :

  • Process purchase and sales, transaction records, and bank statements across various industries.
  • Perform reconciliation of purchase, sales, and other general ledger accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and post journal entries for finalizing accounts and completing VAT submissions.
  • Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
