  • Adaptability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Passion for student-centered learning and a commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to handle classroom dynamics.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to ensure holistic student development.

Other Requirements

  • Minimum two-year commitment required.
  • Relocation to Narsingdi is expected for this role.
  • Strong English proficiency (both verbal and written).

Responsibilities & Context

  • Empower student agency by fostering a learning environment where students take ownership of their learning journey.
  • Implement inquiry-based learning strategies that promote critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Design and deliver lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework, integrating transdisciplinary themes.
  • Guide students in setting personal learning goals, reflecting on their progress, and making informed choices.
  • Utilize formative and summative assessments to tailor instruction and track student growth.
  • Actively engage with parents and guardians to support student development and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and leadership to enhance teaching practices and curriculum implementation.
  • Participate in professional development (CPD) opportunities to stay updated with IB PYP best practices.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom that fosters respect, empathy, and international-mindedness.
