It embodies the principle of corporate philanthropy, with 51% shareholding of Renata Ltd, one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical and animal health product companies in Bangladesh. The organisation founded by Mr. Syed Humayun Kabir in 1993 aims to empower communities, catalyze entrepreneurship, build equity, and establish enterprises for good with an overarching vision of ensuring Health, Happiness, and Dignity for All. SAJIDA`s portfolio comprises of community centric development programmes on women`s livelihood and health, climate change and urban poverty, a premier microfinance operation which serves more than 780K+ members through 400 offices, and six specialised healthcare enterprises.
    The Health Technology Specialist will help SAJIDA shift from a service-delivery organisation to a technology-driven, system-strengthening, market-ready health ecosystem. S\/He will provide the technical leadership needed to make health data flow across systems, manage that data well, and get new ideas adopted at the grassroots.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Strategic and Technical Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Provide technical leadership across SAJIDA Foundation`s health portfolio, including Development Programmes, Enterprises, and Hospital services.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Support strategic planning, programme design, and development of integrated health models aligned with organisational priorities and national health strategies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Ensure programmes and health initiatives are evidence-based, operationally feasible, ethically delivered, and designed for sustainable scale and impact.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Provide technical guidance on public health systems strengthening, service delivery models, quality improvement, and continuity of care approaches.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Advise senior management on emerging public health priorities, health technologies, implementation strategies, and innovation opportunities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    2. Technology and Digital Health Services<\/strong><\/p>\n
    \n
    \n
    Lead the integration of open-source, connectable digital health tools. Avoid building yet another parallel, siloed system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Deploy Al tools that work in low-resource settings-things like risk triage, clinical decision support, and workflow automation that real communities can use.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Own the product. Work directly with tech teams, developers, and clinicians to create scalable solutions that match the actual environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Shape digital health strategies, run innovation pilots, and package them into frameworks ready for the market.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    3. Technical Quality and Strategic Programme Development<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Ensure every health initiative meets international standards for technical quality and data implementation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Strengthen technical quality and implementation standards across health initiatives.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Promote data-driven decision-making and use of evidence to improve program performance and service delivery.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Identify implementation gaps and provide technical recommendations for programme and systems improvement.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Support evidence synthesis, technical reviews, and development of public health positioning documents.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Contribute to organisational thought leadership on public health systems, digital health, urban health, and innovation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    4. Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Maintain effective coordination with government authorities, hospitals, development partners, academic institutions, private sector actors, and technology partners.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Represent SAJIDA Foundation in technical forums, working groups, consultations, and external engagements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Support development of strategic partnerships related to digital health, innovation, public health systems, and implementation research.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    5. Capacity Building and Organisational Support<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Mentor and provide technical guidance to programme teams, clinical teams, and implementation staff.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
