    Must have knowledge and driving capability in both manual and automatic vehicles.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Knowledge of driving rules and regulations with skills in minor vehicle repair.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Basic knowledge of BRTA-related work.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Office and Email correspondence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Must have physical fitness<\/strong>\u00a0(which includes good eye sight, normal blood pressure and no serious illnesses, including diabetes) to travel and drive.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    A fitness certificate is required from a registered medical practitioner.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Responsibilities & Context<\/p>\n

    Job Purpose<\/u>:\u00a0<\/strong>To perform regular duties of driving, vehicle maintenance and assistance in updating documents in line with UCEP Bangladesh\u2019s values, vision, mission, goals and relevant country laws.<\/p>\n
    Job Responsibilities:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

    To contribute implementing UCEP Bangladesh\u2019s values, vision, mission and goals, and development of future strategy documents as needed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To drive safely following all traffic rules, regulations, and speed limits.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To maintain assigned vehicle properly by checking and topping fuel, oil, water, air pressure, light, brake fluid, cleaning, washing etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To deliver the vehicle for servicing as per schedule.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To report all faults\/damages immediately and to take necessary remedial actions accordingly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To fill up log books, fuel records, update expenditure etc., and to retain copies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To clean up vehicles whenever required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To safeguard the vehicle when parked.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To assist in keeping the vehicle documents updated.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To provide support, as per instruction from the supervisor, even during holidays (against overtime payment).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To ensure the vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and in good working condition at all times<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To ensure the vehicle is kept secure at all times.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To ensure the vehicle is given regular\/day-to-day maintenance checks: check oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To ensure vehicle repairs are carried out properly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To prepare and submit a vehicle monitoring report, including records of vehicle operations, maintenance, expenses, and mileage, at the end of each month.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    To ensure vehicle insurance, fitness certificate, tax token and registration are updated in accordance with the BRTA schedule.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Promote and contribute to ongoing efforts towards gender equity, child protection, inclusiveness, accessibility and a discrimination-free environment in the workplace and operations\/activities\/plans.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    To maintain strict confidentiality of information, documents and other internal and external communications.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
