    Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n
    To support uninterrupted hospital operations by ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement of medicines, medical consumables, equipment, and general supplies in compliance with Bangladesh Specialized Hospital policies and supply chain standards.<\/p>\n
    Key Duties & Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n
    1. Purchase & Procurement Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n
    \n
    \n
    Process purchase requisitions received from pharmacy, medical departments, engineering, and administrative units.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Collect quotations from approved vendors, prepare comparative statements (CS), and assist in vendor selection as per BSH procurement policy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Prepare and issue purchase orders (PO) after obtaining necessary approvals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    2. Vendor & Supplier Coordination<\/strong><\/p>\n
    \n
    \n
    Maintain effective communication with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and quality issues.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Assist in vendor evaluation, performance monitoring, and updating approved vendor lists.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Coordinate with suppliers for return, replacement, or rejection of substandard or damaged goods.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    3. Inventory & Store Coordination<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Coordinate with central store, pharmacy, and user departments to monitor stock levels and urgent requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Support inventory control, stock reconciliation, and expiry management of medical and non-medical items.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Ensure critical hospital items are procured on priority to avoid stock-out situations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    4. Documentation & Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
    Maintain proper procurement documentation including requisitions, quotations, CS, PO, delivery challans, GRN, and invoices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Ensure compliance with internal control systems, audit requirements, and hospital procurement guidelines.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
    \n
    Assist during internal and external audits related to purchase and supply chain activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    5. Cost Control & Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
    Assist in price negotiation and market survey to ensure competitive purchasing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Prepare purchase reports, supplier-wise analysis, and MIS reports for management review.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Support annual procurement planning and budgeting exercises.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    6. System & Process Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Update and maintain procurement data in ERP \/ SCM software accurately.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
