    A Medical Officer (for Internal Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Neuro Medicine, CCU, ICU, Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiology, Nephrology, GHPD, Emergency, Oncology, General Surgery, & Gynae & Obs., Orthopedics, Neuro Surgery, Colorectal, Post Operative Ward (PoW) and Urology dept.<\/strong>) at BSH plays a key role in providing clinical care, assisting specialists, and supporting smooth medical operations within their assigned department. The position involves direct patient care, diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic planning, and close coordination with consultants and healthcare teams to ensure quality medical service delivery.<\/p>\n
    Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n
    Clinical Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Perform comprehensive assessments including history taking, physical examination, and formulation of differential diagnoses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Provide medical care and treatment under the supervision of the assigned Specialist\/Consultant.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Monitor inpatients and report any significant clinical changes to senior medical staff.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Ensure timely ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests and act upon the results.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Prepare and maintain accurate, detailed medical records, reports, and discharge summaries.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Assist in daily ward rounds, outpatient clinics, procedures, and emergency calls as required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Manage departmental activities in the absence of the specialist\/ registrar & SMO.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Coordinate scheduling of patients, investigations, and procedures in collaboration with nursing and administrative staff.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Support infection control, patient safety, and clinical governance initiatives within the department.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Emergency & Critical Care Support<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Provide emergency medical care, initial resuscitation, and stabilization of critically ill patients.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Be available for shifts in ER, CCU, ICU, or other critical units depending on hospital roster.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
