Job Description
Education
- Master of Science (MSc) in Pharmacy
- Master’s in pharmacy from a recognized institution/master’s degree in healthcare management or related field is preferred.
Experience

- At least 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

- Age At most 45 years

12 years of progressively responsible experience, of which minimum 05 years in a top-level leadership position in retail pharmacy, healthcare, or retail operations.

Proven experience in pharmacy outlet setup, expansion, and operational management

Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations, monitor inventory accuracy, stock turnover, and shrinkage control.

Strong knowledge of DGDA regulations and pharmacy retail compliance in Bangladesh
Responsibilities & Context
Labaid Group, the largest healthcare brand in Bangladesh, inviting applications from experienced professionals for the following full-time position:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end setup and commissioning of new centers, ensuring operational readiness, regulatory compliance, staffing, inventory availability, and smooth business commencement.
- Ensure compliance with DGDA regulations, Pharmacy Council requirements, and licensing across all outlets.
- Ensure presence of registered pharmacists and adherence to narcotics/controlled drug handling protocols
- Lead feasibility studies, site selection, and evaluation processes for new pharmacy outlets.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence across all pharmacy outlets.
- Develop and maintain monthly & annual budgets for operations and capital purchases.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize stock-outs and expiry losses.
- Analyze sales, margins, and profitability of outlets, and manage operational budgets and control costs.
- Ensure high standards of customer service across all outlets.
- Work closely with Vendors, Business partners, Finance, Supply Chain, Senior Management to achieve business objectives.
- Willingness to travel extensively across outlet locations
- Responsible for any other assignment given by higher Management.
