Job Description
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, Accounting
- Master’s degree/Professional certification (CA-CC, ACCA partly qualified, etc.) will be an advantage
Experience
-
- At least 5 years

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Responsibilities & Context
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with local regulations
- Maintain proper VAT records, registers, and documentation
- Handle customs-related documentation for import/export activities
- Coordinate with clearing & forwarding (C&F) agents for smooth customs clearance
- Ensure compliance with VAT and customs laws and company policies
- Monitor input-output VAT and ensure accurate calculations
- Assist in audits, assessments, and regulatory inspections
- Prepare reports related to VAT, tax, and customs activities
- Liaise with government authorities (NBR, Customs Office, etc.) when required
- Keep updated with changes in VAT and customs regulations
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management

Euro Foods BD Operations seeks a detail-oriented Executive-VAT & Customs to handle VAT compliance, customs documentation, and regulations. Candidates must know VAT laws, import-export procedures, and ensure accurate, timely reporting and coordination

Strong knowledge of VAT & SD Act and customs procedures

Familiarity with VAT online return submission systems

Good understanding of import/export documentation

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and reporting abilities

Hands-on experience with VAT return submission and customs clearance

Retail Shop/Industry experience will be highly preferred
