Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Development Studies, Business Administration, English, Urban and Regional Planning, or any other relevant discipline from any UGC approved reputed university or instituzte

Experience

    • At least 1 year
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, NGO

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge: BRAC’s values and mission, IM/KM systems, reporting frameworks, donor compliance, shelter programme operations, reporting frameworks, Logistics and administrative systems, report writing, documentation, lessons learned.

  • Skills: Report writing and data analysis Documentation and knowledge product development Coordination and stakeholder management, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), KoboToolbox, basic graphic design for knowledge products.

  • Competencies: Demonstrated technical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in complex and challenging situations, facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with relevant stakeholders


Responsibilities & Context

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

In order to successfully implement the Play to Learn 2.0 Project’s: Advancing Scalable Solutions to Transform the Lives of Children on the Move, Case Management (CM) activities in the field of HCMP, the Case Worker (ECD) is responsible for identifying vulnerable children and providing quality case management services to them in the Rohingya camps.

  • Maintain organized filing and record-keeping systems for operational documents for audit and reference purposes.

  • Lead development and management of reporting systems, including internal MIS, donor reports, dashboards, and situation reports.

  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and donor reports with accuracy, consistency, and quality.

  • Establish and maintain structured documentation and including proper archiving of reports, case studies, lessons learned, and technical documents.

  • Identify operational gaps, risks, and implementation challenges and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

  • Maintain strong coordination with programme, IM, M&E, supply chain, finance, admin, and procurement teams to ensure integrated programme implementation.

  • Support communication with donors, partners, and stakeholders through accurate reporting, documentation, and information sharing.

    Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
