Education
- Diploma in Medical Technology in Laboratory Medicine
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Laboratory Medicine
- Certification in Phlebotomy will be considered an added advantage
Experience

Responsibilities & Context

Collect blood samples from patients using standard venipuncture techniques working in the hospital or from home.

Ensure proper patient identification before sample collection.

Label, handle, and transport specimens accurately to the laboratory.

Maintain infection control and safety protocols during procedures.

Provide support and reassurance to patients during sample collection.

Maintain records of collected samples and ensure documentation accuracy.

Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the phlebotomy area.
