Responsibilities & Context
Akij Ceramics Limited (Tiles), a concern of AKIJBASHIR Group, is looking for a competent and proactive professional for the Squaring & Polishing Section under the Production Department. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining product quality standards, supervising manpower, and preparing production reports for squaring and polishing lines.
Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor all activities of the Squaring & Polishing lines to ensure uninterrupted production.

Monitor and ensure required quality standards during squaring and polishing operations.

Conduct regular checks on running production quality and take immediate corrective measures when necessary.

Manage manpower distribution plant-wise and ensure proper shift-wise duty planning.
-
Ensure proper shifting duty schedules of operators and helpers.
-
Maintain and update all production and operational reports in the regular logbook/register.
-
Check, replace, and manage all types of squaring wheels and polishing abrasives as per operational requirement.

Ensure proper operation and maintenance support of machinery and immediately report technical issues to the concerned authority/HOD.

Support production efficiency improvement initiatives and reduce rejection/wastage.
-
Coordinate with other production sections to maintain smooth workflow.
