Job Description
Education
- Diploma in Medical
- Diploma in Medical Technology or BSc/MSc in Medical Laboratory Technology/Clinical Pathology or relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Additional training in Laboratory Management or Quality Assurance will be an added advantage.
Experience

- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Physiotherapy center, Diagnostic Centre, Clinic, Healthcare/Lifestyle product, Chamber, Healthcare Startup
Additional Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience will be preferred.
- Only candidates meeting the above requirements will be considered.
- Skills & Competencies: High level of diagnostic accuracy & Clinical judgment.
- Strong leadership, Communication and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of laboratory equipment, diagnostic procedures, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
- Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities & Context
Farazy Hospital Limited, a reputed healthcare service provider, is inviting applications from competent, experienced, and dedicated professionals for the position of Lab In-charge to lead and manage the Laboratory Department effectively.
Job Location: Rampura Banashree, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Department: Laboratory Services
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall supervision and management of laboratory operations.
- Ensure accuracy, quality control, and timely reporting of diagnostic tests.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate laboratory staff.
- Monitor equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory of reagents and consumables.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with doctors and management regarding laboratory services and urgent reports.
- Prepare and submit regular operational, quality, and performance reports.
