Responsibilities & Context
The Logistics Supervisor, Warehouse will be responsible for managing the end-to-end outbound and delivery operations of the warehouse. This role oversees staff, riders, and drivers to ensure timely, accurate, and safe order fulfillment. The position ensures compliance with shipment documentation, security protocols, and 3PL coordination, while optimizing routes, reducing delivery TAT, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee the daily Outbound & logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Orders.
- Train and lead Sorting/routing staff, Riders, Drivers and support teams to ensure discipline, efficiency and safety.
- Ensure proper loading, unloading, Rider Handling and route planning to reduce delivery TAT.
- Monitor delivery KPIs including SLA, Conversion, Success Ratio & delivery accuracy, fleet performance and TAT.
- Manage relationships with 3PL delivery partners.
- Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments with gate pass and supporting documents.
- Maintain a logistics vehicle logbook for warehouse entry/exit.
- Implement sealing and tagging procedures for all shipments leaving the warehouse.
- Conduct random security checks to prevent pilferage, misuse, or loss of inventory.
- Resolve delivery-related issues, complaints or discrepancies in a prompt and professional manner.
- Any task assigned by the management from time to time.
