Education
- Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry
- Master of Arts (MA) in English
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum 2nd Class in Master’s Degree or CGPA 3.00 in the relevant subject (Chemistry, English) from any recognized university.

Additional Requirements
Experience:
- For the position of Sr. Lecturer (Chemistry, English) : At least 5 years of teaching experience at reputed colleges (Bangla/English version) is mandatory.
- For the position of Lecturer (Chemistry, English): At least 3 years teaching experience at any reputed college (Bangla/English Version) will be given preference.
- Active in any co-curricular activities
- Expert in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Email Communication and google all applications.
- Good Command over English speaking and writing
- Must have the capability to conduct classes efficiently both in Bangla and English version.
- Training on teaching methodology will be added as an advantage.
- Preference will be given to those who have certificate of NTRCA.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary:
Daffodil International College, a leading educational institution committed to academic excellence, is seeking a passionate and qualified Lecturer/Sr. Lecturer for the Department of Chemistry and the Department of English for its Dhaka campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lectures in respective Subjects (Chemistry, English) composition as per the National Curriculum and College guidelines.
- Prepare lesson plans, course outlines, and teaching materials.
- Conduct regular assessments, provide feedback, and maintain accurate student records.
- Guide students in academic and co-curricular activities to foster overall development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, training sessions, and professional development programs.
- Assist in curriculum development, syllabus updates, and examination question setting/moderation.
- Provide academic counselling and mentoring to students as needed.
- Contribute to research, publications, and other scholarly activities (preferred but not mandatory).
- Collaborate with faculty members to ensure a consistent and effective learning environment.
