Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and experienced educator to join our secondary faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Cambridge International Curriculum (IGCSE & A-Level) and a proven track record of delivering high-quality instruction in both Physics and Mathematics. We value professionals who are committed to academic excellence and the holistic development of students within a value-aligned educational framework.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons in Physics and Mathematics following the Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE/A-Level frameworks.

·       Assessment & Feedback: Prepare students for external examinations; design internal assessments, conduct regular grading, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.

·       Instructional Quality: Utilize modern pedagogical techniques and laboratory experiments to make complex scientific and mathematical concepts accessible and interesting.

·       Mentorship: Act as a mentor to students, supporting their academic progress and emotional well-being.

·       Collaboration: Work closely with the Academic Coordinator and Vice Principal to align departmental goals with the school’s strategic vision.

·       Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans in accordance with school policy.

 

  Requirements

·       Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, or a related field from a reputable university.

·       Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of teaching experience specifically within the Cambridge Curriculum.

·       Technical Proficiency: Strong command of English (both written and oral) and proficiency in using educational technology/tools for classroom management. 

·       Expertise: In-depth knowledge of CAIE (Cambridge Assessment International Education) standards, marking schemes, and syllabus updates.
