Job Description
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
- MBA/Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting will be given preference.
- Professional certification (CA/ACCA/CMA – partly qualified) is highly preferred.

Job Context:
We are looking for a dynamic and analytical professional for the position of Deputy Manager/Manager – Cost & Budgeting to strengthen our finance and cost control function. The role is crucial for ensuring effective cost management, budgeting accuracy, and financial planning across our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing production costs, optimizing resource utilization, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement cost accounting systems, policies, and procedures for manufacturing operations

Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and periodic financial projections

Analyze production costs (raw materials, labor, overhead) and identify cost-saving opportunities

Monitor actual performance vs budget and provide variance analysis with actionable insights

Ensure accurate product costing and profitability analysis

Work closely with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to control operational costs

Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management
-
Conduct inventory valuation, stock analysis, and wastage control
-
Support pricing decisions through cost analysis and market insights

Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements

Oversee cost optimization initiatives across departments

Supervise and guide the finance/costing team
