Experience

Responsibilities & Context

In this position, it is required to maintain industrial boilers and auxiliary equipment in a prompt, efficient and safe manner.

  • Supervising Boiler operator to daily operation and maintenance job as per schedule.

  • Maintain daily breakdown and trouble shooting report.

  • Performs routine maintenance on boiler equipment and systems.

  • Maintains and updates required records for boiler operations and maintenance.

  • Performs maintenance and trouble shooting of all submersible and service water pumps.

  • Monitoring boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels, and adjust to maintain required levels.

  • Monitor and inspect equipment, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions and to ensure that equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

  • Analyze problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of equipment and systems.

  • Perform or arrange for repairs, such as complete overhauls, replacement of defective valves, gaskets, or bearings, or fabrication of new parts.

  • Perform any other operation-related function indicated by immediate supervisor.
