Education

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
  • B. Pharm is Mandatory
  • M. Pharm or MBA in Supply Chain / Marketing will be an added advantage

Experience

    • 2 to 3 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Indenting Firm, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies

Additional Requirements

  • Age At most 32 years
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements (DGDA, GMP, CEP, DMF)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance
  • Proficient in MS Office and email correspondence

Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a highly motivated and performance-driven Executive, Business Development to join Horizon Traders (a Sister Concern of Popular Pharmaceuticals PLC.), a reputed indenting firm. The position is responsible for identifying and sourcing raw and packaging materials, managing strategic supplier relationships and assisting in the development and execution of procurement strategies. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency, cost optimization and uninterrupted supply in line with organizational objectives.

New Source Development (Pharma)

  • Identify, evaluate and develop new international sources for APIs, Excipients, Packaging materials, Fine chemicals & intermediates
  • Communicate with manufacturers in China, India, Europe and other regions
  • Collect and evaluate technical documents such as COA, MSDS, DMF, CEP, GMP, ISO
  • Coordinate sample arrangement, stability, and trial approval with customer pharma companies
  • Support vendor qualification and audit coordination with QA/QC

Indenting & Business Operations

  • Handle price negotiation, MOQ, lead time and Incoterms (FOB, CFR, CIF)
  • Prepare and follow up quotations, proforma invoices, and contracts
  • Coordinate with customers on PO receipt, LC opening / TT terms, Shipment schedules

Skills & Expertise

 
  • Experience dealing with China/India suppliers will be highly preferred
