About the Role

Chartered Life Insurance PLC. is looking for an experienced and visionary Head of IT to lead the Company’s IT department focusing on technological strategy, strengthen system reliability and drive digital transformation across all business functions.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in managing IT operations within life insurance, financial services, or similar regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Oversee insurance systems (policy administration, claims, underwriting, accounting, etc.)

  • Ensure cybersecurity, data integrity and regulatory compliance (IDRA).

  • Manage IT infrastructure, networks, databases, and cloud solutions.

  • Knowledge about the Comprehensive ERP System.

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and business process automation.

  • Supervise IT projects, vendors, and internal support operations.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing IT team.
